Bruce Springsteen’s lyrics describe an alternate mythology – one where ordinary lives became extraordinary and heroic, one where tragedy can be starkly beautiful and one where every victory is cracked and stained by loss and defeat. Don’t miss this amazing night of music.
Cost is on a sliding scale from $5 – $10 and will benefit 94.7 FM WGOT-LP, Gainesville’s independent, locally-produced, community-owned radio station.

The next WGOT Benefit concert and comedy showcase will be held at Loosey’s (the old Market Street), 120 SW 1st Ave, on 7/29. Enjoy music from Grabass Charlestons and the 15th Anniversary show of Crashpad. The benefit will also feature a Comedy Showcase with Evan Rocha, J C Currais, Tim Keck, and Jay Koger. Doors @ 9. WGOT will be holding our next benefit concert on Saturday, March 19 at 1982, 919 W. University Avenue. This benefit showcases the future generation of music and includes Kirkwood Gap, Yo! Banana Boy, Intimate by Proximity, When Pigs Fly, and Aleutian Low. $6/$8 cover, doors at 8, and show at 8:20.
