WGOT apologizes if you have been listening or planning on listening to our broadcast and have found that our regular schedule was not on the air. We have been experiencing some technical difficulties, but are in the process of working them out.
We are also working furiously to get WGOT streaming on the internet. This will happen in 2010. There is no doubt we could use your financial support. Please consider becoming an individual member of WGOT or as a business becoming a program underwriter by using the links in the left column.

WGOT will be holding a staff and informational meeting on Sunday July 11, 2010 at the Civic Media Center, 433 S. Main St. The meeting will be held at 6 PM.
The agenda will include information for current staff as well as information for others interested in getting involved with WGOT community radio, especially for those who would like to develop and produce programming for the station. For more information prior to the event contact info@wgot.org.

On The Writers Symposium, WGOT LP Gainesville’s newest radio talk show (94.7
FM), University Professors speak with moderator, Lynne Loewenthal about their most
recent publications; what inspired their writing, what they hope to achieve with their
work, and what they’re working on now. In a 10 part series, authors from a wide array
of disciplines such as: Telecommunications, Creative Writing, Medieval History,
Anthropology, British Literature, Women’s Studies and African Studies, talk about their books,
articles, poems and grants. The Series is produced by Orange & Blue Textbooks, Gainesville’s local textbook supplier since 1993.
