New Music recently added to the WGOT-LP music library

by RadioRabbler | Events

Some more New Music recently added to the WGOT-LP music library:

Did you know that some of the more innovative new music today is coming from the extreme music genres? For example, check out “Kernal Panic” below from a German band named Alkaloid. It’s the odd opening track from 2018 album, “Liquid Anatomy”.

From Denmark, there’s an extreme music band simply named LLNN who released
their album “Deeds” last year. LLNN describe themselves musically in terms of a science fiction genre; claiming to be “post-apocalyptic”. LLNN also weaves “found sounds” such as the sound of boiling water into their other other worldly soundscapes.

Panda Bear is the name for a solo project from a former member of the innovative
experimental indie rock ensemble, “Animal Collective”. Panda Bear latest album is called “Buoys”, and we dig the track below:

New Music recently added to WGOT

New Music recently added to the WGOT-LP Indie Rock library:

From Melbourne comes the Drunk Mums and “Urban Cowboy”
from their 2018 album of the same name. The Drunk
Mums appear to be neither. They are not drunk, nor females- as far as I can tell. The Drunk Mums are a traditional four piece, male
garage punk combo. And as you can tell from listening to the track below, move over Rolling Stones. The Drunk Mums sound like they would
fit right at home here in Gainesville Rock City!

From Austin, Texas comes brand new music from Moving Panoramas and “Add Heart” from their forthcoming album, “In Two”. The Moving Panoramas are an all female three-piece that plays Dream Pop; a subgenre of indie and and neo-psychedelia that first developed during the 1980s. Tasty track below:

Ex-Hex and “Cosmic Cave” from their forthcoming LP, “It’s Real” to be released next month on Merge Records. Ex Hex are a Washington DC all female garage rock power trio formed around 2014. They rock!
