Before Romania could join the European Union, they had to address their centuries old captive bear problem, with government support  Christina Lapis created a sanctuary for bears who had spent their lives on public display under terrible condition, today’s show is an interview with Christina Lapis about her bear sanctuary and the continuing Eastern European Bear problem.  Air/stream, 3pm; Stream only, 7pm.
