What: WGOT’s fourth benefit show featuring Bridget Kelly, Freightline, and Damn Wrights.
When: Sunday, June 29, 2008, 7:30pm (doors open at 6:30pm).
Where: Durty Nellie’s Irish Pub (208 W University Ave. Gainesville).
Why: Low Power to the People!
How: Sliding scale donations accepted at the door.
Please come out and show your support for community radio in Gainesville! There will be T-shirts! There will be stickers! There will be assorted mayhem!

Good luck fund-raising for WGOT. We need community radio here in Gainesville. Question: Will the station ever broadcast a live call-in talk-show? We need that here in North Florida. There has been way too much ‘air-pollution’ from the evil racist-misogynist Rush Limbaugh and his lackey followers, not to mention the self-loathing and downright stupid local radio station jabberers who just plain suck at their job. They make it look like North Florida is made up of a bunch of right-wing idiots when in reality it’s a very Progressive place with good people.
We need a talk-show on WGOT! :o)
