WGOT’s new Wednesday morning line-up

by webster | News

Some changes in the program schedule are underway here at WGOT 100.1 FM… This is a small sample.

You can start your Wednesday with progressive news and talk: Counterpoise Radio, produced in association with the Civic Media Center, airs at 5 AM.

Then it’s Thom Hartmann from 6 to 8. The Thom Hartmann Program has more than 6 million listeners and is one of America’s top progressive talk radio programs.

Democracy Now! from Pacifica Radio airs live at 8 AM. Tune in for up-to-date news and in-depth interviews with activists, authors and newsmakers.

At 9 AM we present a new program, The Morning Wave, hosted by local musician H.R. Gertner. The Morning Wave brings you a carefully crafted blend of mellow tunes to ease you into your day.

That’s just a sample of the improvements that are underway. We’re also building a studio that will make it possible for us to do a greater variety of live, local programs. If you’d like to assist, you can attend the 10th Anniversary benefit show coming up Friday (January 19th) at The Atlantic… or stop by our GoFundMe page and make a donation. Every little bit helps! Even a small donation provides a big dose of encouragement.
