New show – The Writers Symposium begins Saturday 7/3
On The Writers Symposium, WGOT LP Gainesville’s newest radio talk show (94.7
FM), University Professors speak with moderator, Lynne Loewenthal about their most
recent publications; what inspired their writing, what they hope to achieve with their
work, and what they’re working on now. In a 10 part series, authors from a wide array
of disciplines such as: Telecommunications, Creative Writing, Medieval History,
Anthropology, British Literature, Women’s Studies and African Studies, talk about their books,
articles, poems and grants. The Series is produced by Orange & Blue Textbooks, Gainesville’s local textbook supplier since 1993.
