WGOT Singer Songwriter Night
WGOT announces a new recurring event:
Singer Songwriter Night in the Courtyard
2nd and 4th Sunday of the month
at the Courtyard on South Main (behind Citizens Co-Op and the Civic Media Center)
7:00 – 9:00
Inspired by Niall Connolly, singer songwriter night at The Path Cafe in NYC, and by the awesome members of BigCity Folk, we want to get together down home in Gainesville.
If you’d like to play for us: Sign-up starts at 6:30. Each night there will be a different phrase or word; perform a song with the phrase of the night and another song or two of your choice. The phrase is determined by a random drawing of suggestions from everyone in attendance.
The phrase for our next event on Sunday, November 24 was drawn at the November 10th event. It is: “Write me a love letter.”
